This was a super quick project that I knocked out before I moved into college. I wanted some cheap room decor that matched my new quilt cover so decided to make a little garland as a bit of fun. Most of the yarn I had on hand anyway and I found what I didn't have at the op-shop.

The first step was planning out the layout which I just did with a simple sketch, making sure that it was the right length. This was a bit of a guess since I had no idea what my room would look like.
Next, I crocheted the flowers, matching the colours to the flowers on the bedspread. Then I blocked these with the iron to make sure they would lay flat.
Roughly following this pattern, I then made a super simple chain of stems, adding leaves and flowers as I went. Once I got to the end I went over the whole thing with slip stitches to make it look a bit more put together.
The final result is this cute garland which I can hang on my wall!
